Xiamen encountered the typhoon “Meranti”, which was the strongest typhoon that has landed southern Fujian since the founding of China. At that time, the heavy storm hit Xiamen city, trees fold to fly, traffic was in congestion, mains and water are broken, Xiamen suffered heavy destroy. After typhoon passed by, in the face of devastation and scarred homes, the whole Xiamen society are into the post-disaster reconstruction work. AOSIF, as an enterprise with high social responsibility, we are in duty bound to work on the reconstruction.

September 21th, AOSIF family went to Xingbin street to clean up the trash, fallen leaves and silt which were left after the typhoon. We put on the volunteer clothes, worn the golves and mask .With the leader’s arrangement, we started to clean the street, even weak women also picked up the shovel to remove silt. After the cleaning work, looking at the clean street we all had the happy smile, although we were sweating.

Through the disaster, we saw a warm city.
